Welcome to Asian Pride at Amsterdam Pride! Asian Pride is dedicated to supporting, making visible, and representing the diverse Queer Asian Community across the Netherlands and in Europe. Our mission is to build a supportive community that celebrates the rich diversity of Asian cultures, and (his)stories, recognising the diversity of experiences and connections to Asia as a continent that queer Asian individuals have. This year marks the 4th year participating within Amsterdam Pride, and the 3rd year participating in the Canal Parade. We are excited to bring our vibrant spirit, colourful heritage and rainbow (his)stories to the forefront of the celebrations.

Here are just a few activities to look out for this year!

Asian Pride Boat @ Canal Parade 3rd August 2024
Our centerpiece event, the Asian Pride Boat, will feature in the Canal Parade. A floating celebration of Asian LGBTQ+ culture, (his)stories and community, our boat will sail through the Amsterdam canals as a vivid display of community, unity and pride. Join us on the water for an unforgettable parade experience! Follow us to keep updated, tickets will be released soon!

Film Screenings
Together with Cinemasia, we have curated film screenings that delve into Queer Asian stories. Cinemasia is one of the longest running Asian film festivals in Europe showcasing the best of Asian Cinema and creating bridges between Europe and Asia through film and media.

Events and Workshops
We will also put on a selection of special events and workshops to coincide with Pride Month! Follow us to keep up to date with our programme. Details will be announced in June.
