COC Nederland is the world’s oldest continuously operating LGBTI+ advocacy organisation. It began as a small magazine reading circle in 1946. Today we are a strong, internationally active advocacy organisation with thousands of members, hundreds of volunteers, nineteen regional associations and a headquarters in Amsterdam. We believe in a world where everyone can be themselves freely and safely — where you can love who you want, where everyone can take part and people have the chance to reach their full potential. Regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression or sex characteristics. In the Netherlands and around the world. Everyone deserves that. We work actively for the emancipation, acceptance and equal rights of LGBTI+ people in the Netherlands and beyond
