WE ARE ALL BORN NAKED!

Drag is an art form and for everyone. It is a community where your gender, sexuality or sexual preference plays no role. Are you a woman who wants to entertain as a drag king? A woman who enters the stages as a drag queen? Or a non-binary artist showing your skills as a gender fluid artist? Everything is possible. We are all born naked, and the rest is drag.

Drag Queens United is an association founded by Sander den Baas / Lady Galore. Drag Queens United organises activities where all drag queens are welcome. From experienced performers to newcomers, from showgirls to butch queens, from fishy to bearded queens. Drag Queens United shows that people (even those with generally big egos) can live together in diversity and stimulates the growth and development of the drag community.

Drag Queens United stands for the diversity of drag.

Around 50 drag artists (M/F/X) from various countries will present themselves on the boat of Drag Queens United. The boat is inspired by gender-reveal parties and their sometimes stigmatising character: pink or blue. The boat will be a floating cradle, decorated with giant teddy bears and helium balloons. A baby is born! And we don’t care about the gender, gender identity and sexual preference of the newborn: everything is fine. That’s why the drag performers on board dress in baby blue, baby pink, baby green and baby yellow. On the side of the boat, the name ‘Drag Queens United’ is visible in baby blocks and next to it the theme ‘We’re all born naked…’. The boat will be baby sweet, but with a strong message and above all drag!
