With our boat we show that the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies are represented across the national government. Together we make a statement for acceptance and equality. This matters in the workplace and in places where it is not yet taken for granted.
We bring the theme UNITY to life with the State Disco Ball. Thousands of tiny mirrors symbolise that every civil servant is an indispensable part of the State, regardless of background or identity.
Our slogan ‘Shine Bright at the State’ stands for an inclusive Netherlands. Whether you are one of the 2.7 million LGBTQIA+ people in society or a colleague at work: together we form a dazzling whole.
