HVO-Querido is a passionate healthcare organization in the Amsterdam region that supports people in vulnerable situations in regaining a home and participating in society. We provide shelter, (residential) care and guidance, based on research and practical and experiential knowledge. We motivate people to find control over their lives. We stand next to them, while staying in close connection with the neighborhood and surroundings. We do this together, in an equitable manner and with heart. In this way we contribute to a healthy, safe, and inclusive society.

We embrace everyone with all differences and deal with people with respect, empathy, and curiosity. We learn to put on an inclusive lens and ensure that everyone feels safe and has the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our ambition.

In 2023, HVO-Querido signed the rainbow declaration, which is in line with our Diversity and Inclusion Policy. In this way we express our desire to be an LGBTQI+ friendly organization.
