What began in 2000 in a student room in Enschede has grown into a global phenomenon. With our headquarters in the heart of Amsterdam, we connect nearly 60 million food lovers with more than 362,000 partners worldwide. From from the local snack bar around the corner to major supermarkets: we make sure it arrives at your door. Last year JET became part of Prosus, listed on Euronext Amsterdam and one of Europe’s largest technology companies.

At JET we believe diversity adds more flavour to the world (and our company). We aim for JET to be a leader in LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. We want every LGBTQIA+ employee, courier, restaurant/shop partner, customer and ally to feel welcome, supported and valued. We have an ID&B team that works on delivering our ambitious ID&B strategy and goals. A few examples include:
Expanding gender-neutral restrooms in our offices
Making it easy to update gender, chosen name and pronouns in our HR systems
Organising awareness initiatives such as Trans Awareness Week
Collaborating with UEFA to raise awareness and share knowledge about LGBTQIA+ inclusion in football
In the UK, Just Eat won ‘Best equality and inclusion’ campaign in 2024 with the Allies United campaign at the EMEA Purpose Awards.
The internal community ‘JET & Proud’ supports this mission by building a network for LGBTQIA+ employees, inspiring the company with global and local events, raising awareness on key topics, providing education, and contributing to inclusive policy and practice.
