LOVE YOU TENDER, WHATEVER YOUR GENDER
Gay, straight, bi, trans or gender neutral. Whoever or whatever you are: first and foremost be yourself! At PostNL we can do that and we will show it (again) during Gay Pride Amsterdam 2022.
Our company employs 48,000 colleagues from more than 150 countries with every conceivable gender identity, creed and ethnic background. Together, we are committed to creating an inclusive organisation where everyone feels at home.
The feeling that you can be yourself is the most important thing there is! If you cannot, it will have a negative effect on you and your environment. If, on the other hand, you can be yourself, you can fully develop all the talents that you have within you. You happy, we happy! Our boat is completely filled with hearts in different colours. With this we show that we love everyone and that everyone can love themselves too.
If it were up to Post NL, everyone in our company would feel completely at home. But fair’s fair: it doesn’t always come naturally. So we think that, as a company, you have to pay attention. A lot of attention. And that’s what we do. That’s how we’re becoming more inclusive, step by step, year after year.
During Gay Pride we show our colleagues and the rest of the world that inclusiveness is a high priority for us. But working on inclusiveness at PostNL is much more than just participating in the Pride. It is a year-round issue for us. For example, we drive all year round with buses, cars and cargo bikes in rainbow colours as a permanent part of our fleet. But we do more, for example with employee training, research (in cooperation with universities) and an active Pride Network. And also by sharing knowledge with other companies and conducting a diversity survey among our own staff to gain insight into possible bottlenecks. We also actively participate in Coming Out Day, have a Diversity Department with a confidential advisor and set conditions when we purchase our services from third parties.
We are happy for people to be different, that is how we are building an inclusive organisation within Post NL.
