The province of Noord‑Holland will join the Canal Parade for the fifth time this year during WorldPride. We’re doing this with the boat “Twelve Hearts, One Pride”. As in previous years, the boat is dedicated to the people of Noord‑Holland.
Residents of the LGBTQIA+ community can sign up from 7 April until 31 May. Tell us who has a special place in your heart. Who do you feel connected to? It could be a partner, a friend, a family member, or someone else who matters to you.
The boat has room for 25 pairs from Noord‑Holland. In addition, there is space for two participants from each other province. That way we bring people from across the country together and show our connections. Together we spread love and pride across the Netherlands.

As a rainbow province, Noord‑Holland believes it’s important that everyone can be themselves. By taking part in the Canal Parade, we aim to increase visibility and acceptance of people from the LGBTQIA+ community. That’s why during the parade we don’t highlight our organisation, but the people from the community.
