The province of Noord‑Holland will join the Canal Parade for the fifth time this year during WorldPride. We’ll do this aboard the boat “Twelve Hearts, One Pride”. As in previous years, the boat is dedicated to residents of Noord‑Holland.
Members of the LGBTQIA+ community can sign up between 7 April and 31 May. To register, tell us who holds a special place in your heart. Who do you feel connected to? It could be a partner, a friend, a family member, or anyone else important to you.
There is room on the boat for 25 pairs from Noord‑Holland. In addition, two participants from each other province are welcome. This way we bring people from across the country together and show that we are connected. Together we spread love and pride throughout the Netherlands.

As a rainbow province, Noord‑Holland believes it’s important that everyone can be themselves. By taking part in the Canal Parade, we aim to increase visibility and acceptance of people from the LGBTQIA+ community. That’s why, during the parade, we put the community front and centre rather than our organisation.
