We still often think back to our first participation last year (we were even allowed to sail at the front of the parade). Never before had so many intersex people been together in one place, alongside supportive allies. That has everything to do with the invisibility and secrecy surrounding our bodies. Too many of us live in secrecy, sometimes hidden behind a medical diagnosis; to those people we say: join us in Unity; because there is no unity or pride without the I for intersex! This year we hope for a boat full of intersex people; united in Unity, yet all different, because every person is unique! After all, sex is a spectrum. We look forward to seeing everyone on 1 August
