Description
Stichting Pride Amsterdam is a non-profit organisation that works for the emancipation, social, civic and legal equality and acceptance of gay, bisexual and lesbian people, as well as those who do not or cannot conform to dominant gender roles (such as feminine-presenting men, masculine-presenting women and queers) or whose assigned sex at birth does not match how they feel (such as transgender people). Visibility of diversity is essential to achieve this. What you see can’t be ignored.
This year Stichting Pride Amsterdam is proudly taking part in the Canal Parade again with a special boat fully themed ‘UNITY’ The boat is a living symbol of solidarity and connection. We celebrate that we can find each other, whether you are part of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally.
On our boat are people who celebrate and represent the diversity and unity of our community. These are the Ambassadors of Pride Amsterdam, who work to promote inclusivity and representation of the LGBTQIA+ community.
