Pride of Colour

Celebrating and representing QPOC!

The Pride of Colour committee has existed since 2018 and is committed to an inclusive program that is focused on Queer People of Colour (QPOC). The committee tries to guarantee important messages such as inclusiveness, intersectionality and representation and to do this in the best possible way.

WE REMEMBER the ones that fought for the marginalized before us. WE WANT TO CREATE an era in which all bodies can enjoy an inclusive Pride that equally represents and celebrates them!

The Pride of Colour team consists entirely of members of the QPOC LHBTI+ community and aims to make Pride Amsterdam a celebration that represents all the bodies that our city has to offer.

The committee works closely with a broad spectrum of organizations, institutions, networks, artists and opinion leaders within the target group and joins forces with those who are committed to the visibility of this group to promote inclusiveness, intersectionality, diversity and cohesion.
