Description
What stories does a chest carry? Some are visible on the skin or clothing — traces of struggle, transition, recognition. Others hide beneath the ribs — embodied memories of love, fear, grief, anger.
BUST: some attempts at rewilding the chest excavates the femme chest as a contested bodily site, shaped by history, intimacy and power — and commemorates it with punk energy and queer futuring. The performance blends contemporary dance by Maria Pisiou & Anna Riley-Shepard, music from queerpunk duo Personbag (Lana Harris & FiFi), and a wearable sculptural installation by Onassis fellow Natalia Manta. A dramaturgy of disruption takes centre stage, inviting the audience to see and revise, dismantle and rebuild, again and again.
