Description

Amsterdam and its canals have long been a symbol of freedom, connection, and individuality. This summer they will again take centre stage when the Grachtenmuseum Amsterdam presents the exhibition Love on the Canals – 30 Years of Canal Parade on the occasion of WorldPride 2026. The exhibition shows how Canal Parade grew from a local initiative into an international symbol of visibility and inclusion — a celebration of exuberance, but also a bearer of urgency, remembrance, and solidarity.

The exhibition runs from 2 July to 27 September.
