Together with Fanclub Centrum we invite an Amsterdammer to curate a film night. This time, especially for Pride, it’s a double bill! With DJ, producer and organiser Joost van Bellen we’ll be watching the cult classic Pink Flamingos by John Waters (1972).
The black comedy Pink Flamingos is packed with extravagance, rebellion and unmatched eccentricity. Divine, the self‑proclaimed “filthiest person alive,” battles a rival duo trying to steal her crown. The film is known for its shocking and grotesque scenes, but beneath the provocation lies a celebration of freedom, individuality and breaking all conventions.
