Rainbow Pride celebrates the meaning of the rainbow flag as a symbol of connection and acceptance. A colourful group exhibition about pride, community and humanity.
Description
The rainbow flag, designed by Gilbert Baker, stands for pride, solidarity, and humanity. The original eight colours represented universal values such as life, nature, harmony, and magic. In the context of WorldPride, this iconic flag is the starting point for the exhibition Rainbow Pride: a contemporary exploration of the meaning and vulnerability of these values today. The exhibition celebrates what connects us, while acknowledging the complexities of acceptance. A colourful exhibition that honours the flag and its significance.
The exhibition runs from 18 June to 30 August
