Description
What started with a single rainbow flag on Churchilllaan has grown into a neighbourhood where hundreds of flags are displayed together during Pride. Not only by LGBTQI+ residents, but also by neighbours who want to show that everyone is welcome. The Pink Route takes you through this colourful area, past iconic Pride spots such as the Churchill monument with its rainbow sash and Amsterdam’s first skyscraper lit in rainbow colours. On the map, every street with one or more rainbow flags is marked pink. Discover a neighbourhood where visibility, solidarity and connection come alive every summer. Here Pride is not just an event, but a community that shows everyone belongs.
