Online hate, discrimination and harassment against the queer community often remain hidden. Many experiences aren’t shared, making patterns hard to detect and address.
At Pride Park on 25 July, seen.amsterdam is launching an interactive installation. Share an experience of online hate, discrimination or harassment and help make online spaces safer. For every shared story a digital flower will grow: a visible sign of solidarity.
After Pride Park the installation will continue to grow on seen.amsterdam with new contributions and insights from existing support and reporting services. Together with young people and partners, Connect, the municipality of Amsterdam’s youth design lab, will explore how online hate can be made more visible and better addressed.
