Description
In a surreal gay sauna you inhabit the body of a young Taiwanese man. You venture through this dreamlike world—woven with desire, arousal and fear—and make eye contact with other sauna-goers. As you move across each floor, corridor and room, every layer of the maze irrevocably unravels behind you. In the end, everything fades. With Traversing the Mist, CHOU Tung‑Yen pushed the boundaries of real-time XR technology and storytelling. “We wanted to recognise a work that left us speechless and deeply connected.
