The beautiful De Watertoren monument is transformed into an immense installation of light and color by the various artworks projected onto it, creating a new gay universe.

Who chooses their own path cannot get lost (Harry Oonk)
Curator Tanja Henn of Buurt Kunst Licht initiated transforming the watertower in Amsterdam Westerpark into a beautifully illuminated art installation. Works by a select group of artists and poets will be projected onto this national monument together with all the Pride flags.
Henk Fakkeldij (HenC) will present his Dancers. He painted these Dancers inspired by the gay parties, festivals and events he attended. They are beautifully and extravagantly dressed joyful performers!
Poems by Minke Maat and Harry Oonk, drawings by Marjolein Hoogerwaard, a cityscape by Teresa Villa Senor, and the new designer flags by Claar Delfsma are part of this project.
