What is the WorldPride Village?

The WorldPride Village is the meeting place for everyone during the second week of WorldPride, where LGBTIQ+ organisations and culture are centre stage. WorldPride Village is located in the heart of Amsterdam’s historic arts hotspot: the Museumplein. Surrounded by the Rijksmuseum, the From Gogh Museum and the Concertgebouw. Where is the ticket checkpoint?

The ticket check for the concerts at the Museumplein is located on the From Baerlestraat side.

What are the opening hours of the ticket checkpoint?

The ticket check starts at 17:30. The ticket check is open until 22:00.

What time does the programme start?

From 17:30 the continuous programme begins, so arrive on time to avoid missing any performances!

Who is performing?

Line up UNITY Concert: New Amsterdam Orchestra live with April Darby, Benji Jams, Beth Ditto, Berget Lewis, Billy Porter, Bryan B, Emma Kok, Gustaph, Joss Stone, Kyara, Mickey Callisto, Paul Morris, Tara McDonald and Zulu Green. Pre-show with Ryan Song and Sera.

How can I pay for food and drinks during the concerts?

At the ticket check you will receive a wristband that you can use to pay at all bars (for both food and drinks) at the Museumplein. The wristband contains a QR code which you can use to top up the balance.

I purchased spending credit when buying my ticket(s). How does this work?

Did you purchase spending credits when buying your ticket? These credits are linked by scanning your ticket and the wristband you receive, so the pre-paid amount is immediately available on your wristband for payments.

If you bought spending credit for food and drinks with your ticket(s), you can find this on the corresponding ticket. The included products are listed next to the ticket’s QR code.

How can I top up my wristband?

You can top up your wristband in 2 ways:

1. Scan the QR code on the wristband with your phone, choose the amount you want to add and pay with iDeal or credit card
2. Right after the ticket check there are top-up machines where you can add money to your wristband. Choose an amount and pay with debit card or credit card

Can I top up my wristband with cash?

It is not possible to top up your wristband with cash. This is a fully cashless event.

On which days can I use my wristband?

You can use your wristband at all concerts at the Museumplein and in the Pride Village, including on days when there is no concert. The wristband is valid from Tuesday 4 August through Saturday 8 August 2026. Visiting over multiple days? Make sure you keep your wristband on!

Can I pay with my debit card at the bars?

No, during the concerts at the Museumplein payment is only possible with your wristband. This speeds up service at the bars and helps avoid queues.

The concert is over and there’s still money on my wristband. Can I get it refunded?

Refunds for any remaining balance can be claimed after all concerts have taken place. So keep your wristband safe! You canfrom Sunday 9 August 2026 to and including Thursday 13 August 2026 scan it with your phone and leave your details. The refund will then be processed; you will receive the remaining amount back to the bank details you provided within 2 weeks.Please note: the minimum amount on your wristband must be €2 to request a refund. If you purchased ‘spending credits’ when buying your ticket(s) these cannot be refunded. Only money added at the Museumplein can be refunded. If you have multiple wristbands with remaining balances, you can claim a refund for one wristband per account. For each wristband you want to claim separately, create a different account.

What if my wristband is broken?

Report it at the bar and someone will help you.

I lost my wristband and there is still money on it. What now?

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

No, you may not bring your own food or drinks. These will be taken at the security check.

May I bring a bag?

Backpacks and weekend bags are not allowed. Handbags are permitted if they are no larger than A4 and no thicker than 10 cm. Small handbags are therefore allowed. This will be checked at security. A limited number of lockers are available at the entrance.

Are there house rules I need to follow?

Are there toilets at the Museumplein?

Yes, there are sufficient toilets available, including accessible toilets.

Can I leave the Museumplein and come back later?

No. For safety reasons a ticket is valid for entry only once. If you leave the Museumplein, your access will be void.

What happens in bad weather?

The concerts at the Museumplein will generally go ahead in rain. Only in extreme weather conditions or by order of authorities may programme elements be adjusted.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome. Every visitor must have a valid ticket. Children under 16 may only enter the Museumplein when accompanied by an adult.

Will there be loud or intense sound?

Yes, from the start of ticket checking there is a continuous musical programme. Some visitors may experience the sound as louder than others. Always use good hearing protection. For more information see: https://ilovemyears.nl/nl

How do I get to the Museumplein?

We advise visitors to travel by public transport where possible. Expect heavy crowds.

The following trams stop at the Museumplein (Concertgebouw stop):

• From Amsterdam Central Station: Tram 2, 24
• From Amsterdam Station Zuid: Tram 5
• From Amsterdam Amstel Station: Tram 12

I accidentally bought the wrong tickets. Can I exchange them?

Tickets cannot be exchanged, we do not take tickets back and we do not issue refunds for purchased tickets.

Tickets cannot be exchanged, we do not take tickets back and we do not issue refunds for purchased tickets.

I can no longer attend the concert. Can I resell my tickets?

A few days before the concerts it will be possible to resell your tickets securely via a resale platform. Check the Order Status page (where you download your tickets) a few days before the concerts. To during that time you may resell your ticket to friends/family/contacts.

Why do I have to personalise my tickets?

Ticket personalisation means providing your name and other supplementary details that are linked to the e-ticket. This information ensures the ticket is assigned to the person named on it. At the entrance this is checked by showing an ID. Ticket personalisation discourages fraud and unauthorised resale of tickets.

Why can't I download my tickets yet?

Tickets for the Museumplein concerts are ‘sealed’. This means tickets are locked for security reasons and only become available a few days before the concerts. This discourages fraud and unauthorised ticket trading.

When will the Golden Circle tickets go on sale?

Golden Circle tickets are not currently on public sale. If this changes we will announce it on our website and social media channels.

I can't find my tickets anymore

Right after purchasing your ticket(s) you received a confirmation email from Weeztix containing a download link to your tickets. Search your email for sender ‘[email protected]’ or for the subject ‘Your ticket(s) for <<gekozen ticket>> [order number]’.

Do I have to print my tickets?

No, you do not need to print your tickets. Tickets can be scanned directly from your phone.

Are there wheelchair-accessible seats available?

Yes, a limited number of wheelchair accessible seats are available. Every visitor needs their own ticket. So a person using a wheelchair and a companion must each have a ticket. Because the wheelchair platform has limited space, a maximum of one companion per wheelchair is allowed.

What happens if (one of) the concerts are cancelled?

If an event organised by Stichting Pride Amsterdam cannot take place due to government measures beyond our control (such as severe weather, national mourning, or a security threat), the event cannot be rescheduled. In that case the ticket amount will be refunded, minus any costs already incurred that are non‑refundable. Because our events are organised on a cost‑recovery basis, these costs are expected to be approximately 50% to 75% of the ticket price.
