Pride Amsterdam 2025 will take place from 26 July to 3 August 2025.

Everyone has the right to be who you are and love who you want. The Pride Amsterdam Foundation wants to draw permanent attention to human rights in general and the acceptance and equality of LGBTQA+ persons in particular, anywhere in the world. Pride is a grand celebration and at the same time an impressive plea for the emancipation of LGBTQA+ persons. Every year, hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the capital to attend Pride Amsterdam. With its partners, Pride Amsterdam offers a range of activities and events in the fields of debate, art, theatre, film, (dance) parties and sports. The highlight is the famous Boat Parade, where content and entertainment come together to create a vibrant spectacle.

Press centre, accreditation and contact

Digital press centre

Our digital press centre with photo and video material is available on request for media that want to use our material. As a foundation, we ask a fee for the use in order to continue investing in our image bank. Requests can be made through our spokesperson.

Speaker mediation

Looking for speakers, presenters, experts? The Pride Amsterdam Foundation's network has a huge number of activists committed to the large and diverse rainbow family on LGBTQIA+ rights. We enjoy bringing people together with clear agreements and expectations from both sides. Because our fight for equal rights and treatment starts with meeting, inspiring and propagating how we can change the world together.

Accreditation during Pride Amsterdam

Media are of course welcome and need press accreditation to do so. This is because it is important for journalists to be able to identify themselves as journalists. An accreditation does not automatically give access to (private) activities. For the Canal Parade on Saturday 2 August 2025, you can apply for an accreditation for the press quay. For all other activities, any access with accreditation is by mutual agreement only.

During the boat parade, journalists with their press accreditation(Pride Press Card) can gain access to the press area that gives an unobstructed view of the boats. Without press accreditation, they will not be admitted. Photographers working for their own websites / social media can also gain access to this press box. In appreciation of this access, we ask for 10 photos (of your own choice) of the boat parade to be used by our organisation. With these photos, you help us keep the archive up to date.

A private sloop for the boat parade is at production cost (€ 750, - excl. VAT). The press boat is intended only for camera crews of (inter)national media and will be provided by us with a skipper and mate. It is not allowed to sail your own boat during the boat parade.

This year, it is also possible to subscribe to a non-exclusive press boat. These are available on a lottery basis and not guaranteed.

Journalists who do not want access to the press box on the canal can of course do their work as usual anywhere in the city, along the route and among the public.

The accreditation of Pride Amsterdam 2025 is currently CLOSED it is NOT possible to be accredited anymore. HAPPY PRIDE!
