WorldPride Amsterdam takes place from 25 July to 8 August 2026. For this special edition we have an adapted press and media policy. This is necessary because demand is high, resources are limited and not all events are accessible to the media without restrictions due to participants’ privacy. At the same time, with a small team we try to serve everyone as best we can, so there are ground rules. On this page you will find all information for press and media and can submit your accreditation request.
Core message Foundation Pride Amsterdam
Everyone has the right to be who they are and to love who they want. Stichting Pride Amsterdam aims to keep attention on human rights in general and on the acceptance and equality of LHBTIQA+ people in particular, wherever in the world. Pride is a big celebration and at the same time a powerful plea for the emancipation of LHBTIQA+ people. Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors come to the capital to attend Pride Amsterdam. With its partners, Pride Amsterdam offers a range of activities and events in the fields of debate, art, theatre, film, (dance) parties and sports. The highlight is the famous Canal Parade, where substance and entertainment come together into a vibrant spectacle.

During WorldPride many events are freely accessible to the media. There are also private activities, and events with limited access. Accreditation is intended to coordinate these different flows.

Digital press centre
Our digital press centre with photo and video material is available on request for media who want to use our materials. As a foundation we ask a fee for use so we can continue to invest in our image bank. Requests can be made via our spokesperson.

We are happy to connect people with clear agreements and expectations on both sides. Our fight for equal rights and treatment starts with meeting, inspiring and sharing how we can change the world together.
