Pride Business Club

To engage the business community more deeply with our goals, the Pride Business Club was established. As a club member you join a network of professionals who value diversity and the emancipation of LGBTIQ+ people and who support us financially, substantively and creatively from their civic commitment.

To become a member, an organisation must have a demonstrable diversity and inclusion policy. Before a membership is confirmed, a vetting committee checks for signs of pinkwashing. This ensures the club is not only visible, but also credible.

As a member you support one of the Netherlands’ largest visible platforms for inclusion. You align your organisation with a network that combines content, impact and visibility and helps Pride Amsterdam keep the festival sustainable, accessible and culturally relevant.

Companies whose communications are not exclusively aimed at the LGBTIQ+ community may only take part in the canal parade if they are members of the Pride Business Club.

Cost, involvement & visibility

The total cost of the canal parade is approximately €730,000. Part of this is covered by a subsidy from the City of Amsterdam and by revenues from boat spots along the route. Without participating Pride Business Club members, participation costs would be much higher. This club helps Pride Amsterdam keep the parade accessible to civic organisations, smaller communities and activist participants.
