From From 15:00 to 22:00 the Javaplein transforms into a lively hub with stages, market stalls, food, music, performances and conversations. Neighbours, visitors, business owners, artists, families, activists and friends come together for a relaxed, accessible programme. You can watch performances, discover local makers and organisations, grab something to eat or drink, join in on stage or enjoy the action from a terrace. Pride Oost celebrates the richness of Amsterdam East: the many stories, backgrounds, cultures, beliefs and identities that shape this neighbourhood. During the festival that diversity becomes visible, audible and tangible. We celebrate pride, community and connection on a square where everyone is welcome.
